• Retail Price Factor – lets you increase or decrease the retail price offered to your
customers. For example, when a value of ‘100’ is specified in this option, Shoper POS
will reduce the retail price by that much. The same can also be defined in terms of
percentages such as ‘-10%’, where the recalculated price will be the retail price,
reduced by ‘10%’
• Discounts – allows you to define your discounts as percentages
(such as 25% off) or in terms of money value
• Round-off – allows you to round off either the retail price of an item or the total
amount of the bill
• Deductions - allows you to specify the value or percentage to be deducted. For
example, ‘special deductions for gold customers’.
Shoper POS provides additional options to specify where the deduction is applicable, as in, if it is applicable on the sale value before discount, or on the discounted sales value, or on the value inclusive of sales tax

There are various permutations and combinations that can be used to define a promotional scheme to suit the needs of your retail business.
lets you define the promotion start date, end date, whether the scheme is applicable on all days of the week or only specific days and for particular time periods during the day. For example, you can specify that the promotion is applicable from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 5 pm. When the promotion period is over, the system will automatically revert back to normal pricing for items, without the need for any manual intervention to alter the item prices. This ensures that promotional offers are not extended unknowingly by your sales people.
allows you to specify the minimum value of purchase that is required to make a customer eligible for the promotional scheme. It can also limit the value up to which the promotion scheme is applicable. |
